Car Crash With Farrar - DRIVE CAREFULLY

So what did you do on Boxing Day? Sales shopping? Family events? Whatever it was I hope you had an amazing Christmas and Boxing Day :).

Now for all of us shopping lovers, we tried to make it to the sales on boxing day. Me and my sister were no exception. We set off to the train station bright and early to get the train to Leeds for some serious shopping, however we got there only to find the Station was closed and trains weren't running. Therefore as we were already in town we thought we may as well just get the bus, it only takes half an hour after all. But no such luck the Bus Station was closed too. ARGH! Next Plan!

So one option left; go back home and drive to Leeds. So we got home decided to have some breakfast before we went - and then we got in the car to set off. Half way there, and a car comes sliding towards us - going extremely fast around a corner and sliding sideways across the road directly at us. I have never been so scared in my life.

Other than the sound of the car hitting us, that is all I can remember of the actual crash itself. I remember it sliding across onto our side of the road but then the airbags deployed and the window smashed in and me and my sister in the car were spun around to the other side of the road over the verge and about half a meter off going down the hill side and into the river!

Ok so we all know its no easy feat shopping for a man, they don't give specific details, they don't like whats in style, the sizes are just confusing and everything you think of they already have or 'don't need' - ridiculous.

But hopefully this post will help you with a few ideas - not all what you'd expect or 'fashionyy'!

Metallic Styling With Farrar - Part 1 - Shoes

Metallics  always add extra glam to your overall outfit and appearance if done right. You can slip on some metallic heels and turn your jeans and top combo into a glamourous look in seconds! How perfect?! My personal favourites at the moment are bronzes, metallic copper shade and those alike, however metallic greens are also well suited my complexion and dark hair. Metallics dont have to be worn in typical silver, bronze and gold shades though - make things a little more day time and different by wearing metallic pinks, blues and greens etc. Although the the gold/silver look can be quite bold it can also be a little safe. However if you just can't get enough of these tones like me, just go for it :)

Birthday Celebrations With Farrar

So, as I have just celebrated my 20th Birthday - eeeeep, I'm no longer a teenager! - I though I'd write a birthday post on everything birthday-ish!

Ok so what did I do?

As I was at uni for my actual Birthday (17th Nov), I went home for the weekend to see my family and have early celebrations! Cake!!! We went for a meal and shopping etc and on sunday night I came back to Uni in Sheffield and went for such a nice meal at Piccolino's with some of my girls, then onto a cocktail bar and salsa bar too haha. After we went onto yet another bar hahah - oops - and as it was a sunday it was pretty quiet so we really had the bar to ourselves :)

Winter Pastels With Farrar

At the moment, in every shop, instagram post or fashion magazine - you will see  winter pastels trending. Alot of people assume pastel colours can only be worn in the summer - however that is just not the case.

Pastel hues on paler skintones look amazing, which is great for most of us who have lost our summer glow by now! My personal favourites are pastel pink and blue - which can be easily matched with non pastel shades.

Fall Fashion With Farrar

Summer has now totally transitioned into fall, theres no denying it - summer is gone until next year. I love fall fashion, it's always super cosy and full of oranges, yellows and browns which are so simple to pull off no matter what skin tone you are!  Fall fashion is all about the big knits, long cosy scarves and those must have knee high boots and furry headbands.
